We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate doctor to join our medical practice in Torquay, Australia on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and will be dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
- Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, x-rays, and MRIs
- Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients on preventative health measures and healthy lifestyle choices
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Australia
- Board certification in Family Medicine, preferred but not required
- Strong clinical skills and ability to provide exceptional patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
